Unsave

Unsave Instagram posts in bulk

See every post you ever saved as one grid, filter by account or type, pick what you don't need and unsave it — without tapping through hundreds of posts.

Unsave in bulk

Drag this button to your bookmarks bar:

  1. Drag Unsave onto your bookmarks bar. Press Ctrl+Shift+B (Mac: Cmd+Shift+B) if the bar is hidden.
  2. Open instagram.com and log in.
  3. Click Unsave in the bar. Your saved posts appear as a grid; select and press Remove selected.
Other ways: Chrome extension or console
Chrome extension (.zip)
  1. Extension: unzip → chrome://extensions → Developer mode → Load unpacked → pick the folder → click the icon on instagram.com.
  2. Console: on instagram.com press F12 → Console → paste. The first time, Chrome asks you to type allow pasting — that's Chrome protecting you; type it, then paste again.

Unsave works slowly on purpose (about 5 seconds per post, with a pause every 20) and stops if Instagram pushes back, so your account looks like a person, not a bot. For big clean-ups, do a few hundred a day. It only talks to instagram.com, never to us.

Or just organize them

Sort your saved posts by account and date, search, filter by collection and export the list — from Instagram's own data file. Nothing is uploaded.

How to get your data file
  1. Instagram → Settings → Accounts Center → Your information and permissions → Download your information.
  2. Choose Some of your information and tick Saved.
  3. Format: JSON (not HTML). Date range: All time.
  4. When Instagram emails you, download the .zip and drop it above.

Questions

How do I unsave all my saved posts at once? Open Unsave on instagram.com, press Load my saved posts, then Select shown (or filter by account or type first) and Remove selected. Instagram's app makes you tap every post; this does it for you.

Is it safe? It uses your own logged-in session, never asks for your password and goes slowly like a person would. Nothing is sent to us.

Does it work on a phone? The bulk unsave needs a computer browser. The organizer works anywhere.
